Artificial intelligence (AI) styling is, by its very nature, limiting, when it comes to catering to the nuances & complexities of styling a human, where you need to consider a client’s personality, mood, preferences, perception goals, lifestyle, emotions, ambitions, and so forth. Human stylists have the emotional intelligence that a computer simply cannot replicate, and styling is psychologically deeper than simply putting a cute outfit together. Human stylists rely on their innate empathy & intuition to pick up on a client’s energy, eliminate limiting beliefs, & communicate effectively to ensure they achieve the shared goal they set with their clients. It’s also important to note the most significant shortcoming, which is that AI & algorithms work at its full capability after analyzing its subject’s behavior, which will result in predictable, “been there, done that” type of looks, rather than exploring new, exciting styles. If you’ve already developed the habit of repeating the same outfit daily & only wearing a small fraction of your wardrobe as most people do, this may exacerbate the issue. Please note, a tremendous amount of time & effort goes into the process behind the scenes, in addition to the amount of time spent with the client in face-to-face sessions. Styling is not as glamorous as it may sound, requiring a ton of hard work & complexities than simply playing with cute clothes. Styling a client includes a deep, personal experience to help clients look & feel their absolute best in every facet of their lifestyle. Although we do offer hourly services upon request, most of our services are in the form of packages, at the best value. Our prices definitely take into consideration the amount of time & effort needed to complete a project, but our rates are more focused on value & results rather than time. 

Our rates are well thought out & fair, and we want our clients to feel confident in their purchase, which is why we offer complimentary 30-minute Style Sync consultations, as well as stand behind our Client Service Support Guarantee. All payments are due up front, at the time of choosing the service you’d like to move forward with, before we officially start the project. We offer payment plans through third party companies to help break up the total cost into more manageable installments. Client text style support is strictly offered to our existing clients who have purchased one of our service packages that include this feature within the time frame listed under the respective service. The purpose of the text style support is to answer simple, quick styling questions via text, within the scope of the service purchased, and to provide clarity in any follow-up, lingering questions the client may have upon completing the service.

The mini digital lookbook is a complimentary service within packages that include a shopping service, which includes up to 5 outfits styled for the client. We offer more outfits at an additional cost (please click here to view all service packages). The purpose of the mini digital lookbook is to allow for a convenient visual of the outfits purchased & styled for the client. For example, if the client purchased a service that includes shopping for a specific vacation, they will receive a mini digital lookbook at no additional cost, with up to 5 outfits styled with the new purchases. This will allow for the client to reference these outfits for inspiration & save time & avoid decision fatigue when getting dressed on their vacation.

The full digital lookbook is optional for the majority of services offered, and the price is determined by the client’s wardrobe size. We charge less for a mini digital lookbook compared to a full digital lookbook because for the former, we shop for the new items strategically ourselves, rather than with the latter, where we work with the client’s existing wardrobe pieces. The full digital lookbook is more holistic, as we strive to build-on and revive a larger, existing wardrobe, which takes more time, effort, and creativity. 

On the other hand, the mini digital lookbook solely features pieces we strategically purchased for the client into outfits we’ve already envisioned mentally while shopping. In other words, the mini digital lookbook essentially provides convenience to the client who prefers a visual of exact outfits styled with their new wardrobe pieces we sourced for them, whereas the full digital lookbook has both new & existing pieces, at a much larger scale. 

We do not allow clients to save or transfer unused time in their service packages. We offer ample time in each service package to ensure clients do not feel rushed. With that, if we happen to complete the service package & achieve the goal set before the allotted time is up, this is the most ideal & efficient scenario. Our ultimate goal is for us to meet our clients needs based on the service package purchased & focus on achieving results to the best of our ability. Yes & no. Although we agree it’s important to choose items that compliment & flatter your body shape + skin/hair/eye color, these systems tend to be restricting & limiting, almost putting you into a box. Although these systems are put into place to simplify & guarantee styling results, it can be counterproductive, as they are not the most accurate or reliable, and can end up making you feel frustrated & overwhelmed as it can cause overthinking, or even make your style feel boring & predictable. At NAZANEEN AZIZI Styling, abiding by these rules are not a priority, as we don’t completely believe in them. Instead, we are open to using it as a guideline to reference when considering the most flattering items on a client, but it’s important to not take it so literally or let it be our sole focus.

It’s also important to note that most body type styling systems focus on simply making every other body type give an illusion of looking like an hourglass shape. These systems indicate that hourglass figures should never wear turtleneck sweaters, which we disagree with from personal experience. We also find it a bit ludicrous to never look at a turtleneck sweater due to your natural figure. Another common rule is if you have fair skin with cool undertones, it’s advised to only wear silver over gold jewelry, and so forth. Our specialty is mainly wardrobe styling: shopping & styling strategically, & hunting down the perfect items that make you feel polished, put together, & as if you can conquer the world. We love to style amazing looks in numerous ways – no matter your body type, or features. In other words, instead of obsessing over following hard rules around body types & skin undertones, we focus on nailing the overall, bigger picture look using our intuition, balancing proportions & the tones of the clothes themselves. Although we would of course not advise color tones that wash you out, or denim that doesn’t fit well, we do not create hard rules that completely banish colors & styles, making it feel illegal to wear looks that you love & feel authentic to you.  

We currently do not offer professional image consulting services, but we may offer such services in the future, which would also include certificates & training in personal branding, etiquette analysis, communication style correction, and so forth. We may informally provide this feedback & support to clients upon request.
